Thermal Insulation

Thermal insulation involves the use of materials to prevent the passage of heat by conduction. Insulating materials provide good thermal resistance.

All the materials prevent heat passing through them, to a greater or lesser extent. Some provide minimum thermal insulation, like metals, so they are said to be good conductors; building materials (plaster, bricks, mortar, etc.) provide medium insulation. Those materials that offer the highest levels of insulation are known as thermal insulators (polyurethanes, polyethylenes, fleeces, wadding, etc).

Modisprem, S.A., offers an impressive range of insulation products, transforming them in a wide variety of ways to suit your needs. We can offer tubes, sheets, rolls, etc.

Applications:

  • Construction: In panels between walls, ceilings and floors, to provide significant energy savings.
  • Pipes and ducts: In the form of a tube, protecting them from freezing and also preventing condensation and corrosion. We can offer them closed, semi-open or open for easy installation.
  • Isothermal packaging: For the food and pharmaceutical industry and any item that needs to kept at a constant temperature inside the box in which it is being transported.
  • White Line: For cable protection and as thermal joints for preventing heat transmission from damaging electronic elements.
